so i'm in the market for a keyboard amp. i don't need anything huge and am not against getting a small one since i'll either be mic'd or DI'd live. i'm trying to stay under $350 and trying to avoid behringer, low-end fenders and the like. does anyone have any suggestions?

I bought a Peavey KB4 new last year. Nice amp, but heavy. Lots of bass and very clear highs. And it has 4 inputs each with their own volume and EQ, and one balanced in, plus balanced sends for patching into a house system easily. Not too expensive either.
I've played through PA amps like the JBL self-powered speakers too, and like them better. Much more low end it seems, and they are smaller and lighter. And you can run them in stereo too.
Fender makes a plastic PA amp that is lighter and already runs in stereo. I was going to try that one out but couldn't find one in my price range.

The Roland KC line is in that price range. I'm happy with mine, I have the second largest one, KC-350 I think. Nice full sound with the about the same input/output as the KB4 Ken mentioned. Someday I'll buy another and rock that stereo link.

I've got one of those fender passport systems that I am not using at all. I am about 30 minutes from you. PM me if you are interested and more details. For reference, you sold me the Juno. Chris
