i've been an Echo user for a while. the Gina24 was amazing, and now i use the Layla24 which is top notch.
also use an M-Audio 410 firewire which is good, and recently got an NI Audio Kontrol 1 which is also surprisingly good (i had hesitations about USB2 interfaces).

I've been thinking about getting a Presonus Inspire to go with my new MacBook. Anyone have any experiences with it?

Presonus Firebox
RME Fireface 400 (my fav so far, my only beef with it is that it ain't playin in linux, shiiiiaaat!)
Tascam FireOne

more than 6 years of happy RME multiface using here. No problems

i'm all about grabbing a metric halo uln2 for my next audio interface..
the pres. the converters. the softwares. the price.

right now ive got a firewire 410. not completely unusable.

i love my RME fireface 400. best gear purchase i have ever made!

soundblaster "pro"
no way! you got the pro version?! (jealous)

edirol fa-101
got it cheap second hand, and it works fine (nothing fancy - just solid)
no software mixer or extensive routing of any kind

lol.

i used to have the Soundblaster AWE 64 or something. like, in 1997.
it was totally 200% better than the AWE 32. i'm not lying!

many thanks

MBP + Metric Halo ULN2 DSP.

Got the metric for half price from jdg and its completely solid. Not had a single issue with it at all.

there seems to be alot of buzz around the inspire 1394, leaning toward that
