ever since I switched from XP to Vista 64-bit my ableton live 7 has been lagging. by lag I mean when I for example put an audiotrack down in ... the horizontal view and play it off and use the... zoomthingie on the top it just; lags.
so, what to do with this? any ideas?

Have you tried contacting Ableton support or asking over at the abes forum?
What might be helpful is to sort out a video screen capture of whats happening and check on task manager to see if Live is spiking.

Are you in classic mode? Turn on Aero
its an ableton-graphics "bug" (the new Vista graphics drivers are actually better than the old)

a lot of people have trouble with vista and replace it with windows xp. i haven't heard anything but bad comments about vista.

yeah tried vista this year, lots of lag in all audio programs for me switched back to xp,

Vista sucks...go back to xp! my laptop came preloaded with vista I had it on there for a week before i realised it was sucking most of the juice out my laptop.
