Is there a vst "sampler" that can actually sample?

Imagine.. all this I/O.. put to some use..

A vst sampler with sampling capability.. like a Vss but running at 24/96.. just click.. sound goes in.. and sample..

no folders, no directorys, no files, no pre-editing..

Here's one.. but it's low rezzzzz... WTF lets make something useful and then cripple it so we get that "80's sound" that I can buy at the local Sally anne. Fuck character! You know how many plugins out there make stuff sound lofi and 80's ? ALL OF THEM, PRACTICALLY!!

Just like GuruVST.. is just begging for a push and hold "sample" feature that lets you record directly to that pad..

Dream on... plugins haven't changed at all in ten years.

I do a similar job with Buzz/Wavosaur. But an integrated version would be nice.

I just don't like renoise...

it does have a very sterile feel to it doesn't it?

yeah it feels software-ey.

that's why i bought a real sampler

yeah, ableton or a real sampler.

well, buzz always has a nice feeling to it.. I mean.. I never fight with it ever. Well I do.. but then we have make up sex.

maybe an a5000 or one of those electribes?

i dug this up to add that you can also import sounds from the timeline to ReasamplOmatic5000 in Reaper.
