besides squarepusher and venetian snares, were there other strong musicians in this style? i remember the term being thrown around kind of a lot but aside from these two are/were there people actually making it?

I still don't know the difference between Dill n' Bass, IDM, and Breakcore, but some off the top of my head:

I'm also not too hip on what's currently going on with that scene. (I overdosed on it a few years ago).

i'm not too sure about the differences between drill n bass vs breakcore, but alongside those back in the day there was mu-ziq.
