Trying to get a very specific fuzz sound, that used by Faust on several tracks on Faust Tapes, and also by Super Furry Animals on the Radiator album, Play it Cool...

Any ideas?

Tried a silicon fuzz pedal but didn't sound quite right...#

I think I know what you're referring to, and I think it's an octave fuzz pedal. My Prescription Electronics "Experience" pedal can do it, but I'm pretty sure there are cheaper alternativeas.

im not sure what exactly youre after, but, i'd recommend to try a Zvex Fuzz Factory...can do tons of different fuzz sounds

thanks chaps. Might try and make an octave fuzz, I've seen some kits. I'm pretty sure a phsaser is used in a lot of Faust's recordings too.
