thread starter Hi
this track featured here by matt riviera called fyh = link has the well known effect that we all know and love of 'time stretched sample' sound - does anyone have any experience using either a loop or other pedal thing because i would like to be able to get this effect in a live pedal... any suggestions? greatly appreciated. Nice site revamp havnt been here for a bit. andyx

I used to do something similar on my electroharmonix deluxe memory man.
Set a short delay time, then jack the feedback up to 100%, pause for about half a sec and then turn the delay time up slowly. Requires two hands and is pretty chaotic. i do this time stretch/fake granular stuff all the time with my eventide timefactor.
after looping it lets you set the loop start and end (but really not the end, more like the length) then you can scrub through your loop slowly and it sounds a lot like time stretching. here are a few of my examples... link link @mapmap Just watched that first link of yours. Loving the sounds and visuals - simple yet beautiful. Im trying to some similar stuff my self but its tricky as there is a band involved. Keep it up.
