thread starter I need to ask to other Native Instruments software owners...
Last week I tried to update my Fm7 installation to Fm8, got to the website, order the update; "Error processing payment", fine, "we will contact you shortly".... Three days later, nothing. Posted an support request to know where my order is going, still nothing. 7 days later, I try another payment method, still the same error, still no news... Is it me or Native Instruments support really sucks? or really inexistent? Am I the only with that type of experience with them? Replies
call them. i had a problem ages ago (can't even remember what it was about) and waited and waited and waited. i finally called them and they took care of it in like 5 minutes.
Thanks, I did call them and yeah, they fixed the problem in 5 minutes... The order was stuck somewhere....
The internet is sooo '00! Vive le téléphone. which is better FM7 or 8? I liked the look of the FM7 but havent really played with either.

I have a FM7 folder in FM8. Massive is also a must buy. I have Komplete and I love it. fakeBlooper said: "call them. i had a problem ages ago (can't even remember what it was about) and waited and waited and waited. i finally called them and they took care of it in like 5 minutes." link FM8 is better than FM7, the GUI is okay, slightly sluggish but more useful. The preset browser is really better. It really sounds the same between the two; but you have more sonic possibilities with FM8, but that's it. It doesn't sound at 100% like a real DX anyway.
I really upgraded because I had an intel mac and FM7 was for PPC only. Just to echo fakeBlooper... I too had an issue with their online ticketing system being broken (they generate tickets but don't get them)... I called them up though and they resolved my issue lickety split (needed a fresh download link for an old order).
I had komplete 2 a while ago and I just ordered the komplete 6 upgrade so i'm looking forward to playing with massive and the new stuff. A new 500GB harddrive is also going to help handle the recockulous amount of stuff on there. Signup to comment
