Only british comedians can make me feel this uncomfortable and embarrassed. In a good way.

I think Nathan Barley is ace, Peep Show too.
For more comfortable, old Brit comedy, though, I'd have to say The Morcambe and Wise Show, Some Mother's Do 'Ave 'Em and The Good Life

Morris is just brilliant. Nathan Barley makes me laugh everytime I think about it. I haven't seen the infamous Brass Eye special yet. Boosh is strangely weird, but I like it.
Did anyone watch Garth Marenghi? So stupid, but so funny (maybe it belongs in the horror thread).
I'm an old schooler..."The Young Ones" is still one of my eternal faves.

Yeah, I absolutely love Garth Marenghi's Dark Place!
I'm surprised it hasn't been released on DVD.
Nathan Barley has, hasn't it?
If not, then I'm surprised neither of them have been!
I guess Dark Place had a more limited appeal, in that, with Peep Show,
Nathan Barley [and the other shows that were brought to light in the UK by Channel 4]
were closer to being real life situations, which made them more cringe-worthy / easier to connect to
and thus apparently funnier to the general UK viewers.

Er, I got Dark Place via the internet vcr (bittorrent), though Nathan Barley is on DVD.
Geek Pie is one of my favorite episodes! Although the one where Dan has to go to the family pub to document "straight on straight" action is a close second.
There are so many funny details about Barley...like his annoying cell phone, Pingu, Sugar Ape...
