i still haven't found my preferred sequencing environment. in my dreams my sequencer is a hybrid of the mpc3000 and the elektron step sequencer. for now, just my hands.

floops vs mulch reffereed by audition

Bhaji's Loops for Palm!!!
mobile DSP, compose anywhere

I want to use Ableton Live in the near future.

Right now it's an Electribe EMX + Chordspace vst for the sequencer duties

I have Cubase 3 and a few Atari St's lying around but I'm too lazy to splice together a vga adaptor.

When I get the time I should learn how to hack my Nintendo DS lite so I can make a midi sequencer using wifi. It'll be all 3d cool and stuff ^_^

Cubase SX
Pro-Tools
Audio Mulch
Bidule
Reason
Korg Electribe SX

Roland 606 - one cool drum sequencer!

Live or Audio Mulch for live use depending on how Disco the set is.

the pieces i tend to finish start and end in acid3

but i spend more time in live5, flstudio5,bjali's/microbe, and the limelite reaktor ens.

the last years it was live, but i got so annoyed over the bugs, that i moved over to digital performer.
gave me back a more work like daw i missed in live. - i was using cubase vst 5 before live - and i loved the really unstylish way it looked.
the only thing i hate about digital performer is, that midi data can't be represented in blocks.

mpc2000xl
ableton live

only two,but most of my things are done in mpc
i also use buzz for sequencing and cubase mixing/recording. however, i want to quit buzz because i've lost far too many tracks and gotten too frustrated. i'll probably be using live, unless buzzle can do a good enough job replacing buzz once it's out of beta.

I just got renoise, I had been feeling the need to spring for something that would allow me to save and come back to my songs after a long period of using the live demo.

I also just purchased an audio interface which came with a copy of live lite, so I may be switching to using that mostly.... more on that as it develops.

audiomulch, lopic pro, DP. the last handful of songs i've written were all done on the machinedrum though and mixed in logic. DP is creeping in to my work flow though.

minisystem - that sequencer is beautiful and looks the business from the demo i saw on sonicstate. i'm using the signal arts one for my modcan. the midi-cv conversion is much better than the kenton btw. rock solid. never stuck notes. i can use one channel for my 202 and 2 channels for the modular. it's quite sexy but requiresa bit more set up time than the modcan sequencer.. obviously..

MPC60 II
MMT-8
Sequencer 303

Reason
Cubase SX
Live (sometimes)

lately, I use hardware--fingers and thumbs mostly
