--> I found the documentary "Radiophonic Workshop - Alchemists of Sound" on YouTube chopped up into 7 parts. I haven't watched all of it, but what I have seen is really fascinating and inspiring, so I thought I'd share. I hope all of these links work...

EDIT: Thanks to fakeBlooper and berfmurret there are direct links to a higher-quality and un-chopped version of this documentary in the comments below (muchos thanks doods). Make sure you right-click and download rather than stream them.

there's this french flick called "listen" that was supposed to be good but i couldn't finish it. the moog documentary wasn't that great and kinda cheesey at points. teremin: an electronic oddyssey is pretty interesting but boring at points. also haack: the king of techno and tom dowd and the language of music... not all about sound manipulation but still alchemists is the best. i've watched and listened to it several times.

Dudes..... pwned by technology.

This made me feel so worthless, but it was also very inspiring

I get depressed everythime I watch this, cos of what the Beeb did, cos of the rampant GENIUS of the workshoppers, the untimely death of Ms Derbyshire and it would be THE dream job.

I like the name *phonic.

alchemy of sound...

do they turn lead records into gold records?

No it's just spraypaint.

i went to this - link - indeed inspiring stuff!
