--> hooray. i moved to a new room. it's a shared flat with some nice persons already living here. it's a little small. like 16 squaremetres. (if you don't know how much this is in ft. – ask google) but it's situated in a really nice area within munich. it's approx. 2 minutes away from the english garden, which is a really nice and chilly big park here in munich.

it feels good to live in a flat/room, without any controllfreaky cunt, who still owes me my disposit of 1000 euros. and to have access to the interweb again.
and of course to be able to listen to music and speakers again. and having my record collection with me. 5 months without most of my music, can get quite long.

so expect me to be around more often again.
(is the chat still not running? i always get timeouts)

these three pics were taken from my desk chair.

don't you have wikipedia in scotland? link

it's a really big park area. i wish there would be persons playing cricket. love to watch it, though i don't understand any of the rules.

hehe that looks familiar, I've got the same Ikea cupboard with (albeit another) book of Bauhaus
I used to live pretty near Englisher Garten myself (a loon time ago from '91-'93), it's such a great place

congrats on the appartment (I know what a hassle that can be in Munich)

wow is a security deposit in europe often 1000euros? I paid the equivalent of about 75euros for my town home security deposit, which is about 116 square meters. I rent this space for about 497 euros/month.
I also have an Ikea bookshelf like this, but I have the big black one, no bauhaus books- but i'm in the market for a good one. Plenty of Dali art books and Sartre on the shelf.
How much does it cost to rent your unit? I have no idea how much it costs to rent in the EU and I'm very curious!

hehe. that ikea-shelf is quite popular i guess. a lot of my friends have it aswell. but whatever. it looks nice. is great for records and books, so...i haven't seen a black one here in germany. only white wood and red. but the wood and the red ones really suck. but i think it's like 3 years i've been to ikea, so maybe there is a black one now.

the normal security disposit is about double the price you pay as a the monthly rent. kinda expensive, but normally, when you get it back afer moving out. it's fine for me. but in this case...nah i just don't think about that anymore. my lawyer told me, that the chances are like 99% i will get it back.
my room costs 400 euros, with everything included like heat, electricity and such. it's really pricey but for munich i think it's quite normal. what makes it a little bummer is, that i paid something like 250 euros for 60 squaremetre in my old hometown.

the bauhaus book is really awesome. as it's not only a picture book, more of a compendium to bauhaus. reall wicked. dali is cool aswell, but never really managed to get into it that much, which is a shame.

Hey, good to hear you finally got a decent place to live. Btw does that bauhaus book come in english also?

awesome man.
