seriously, what do you do, creatively and non-professionally but somewhat seriously and consistently, apart from music?
me, i like to do drawrings on computerz and paper.
i used to write a lot. i wrote gothic horror novel and 2 screenplays before i realized i suck at writing.

I like to hang out with a few select friends and drink alcohol and talk endlessly about music, philosophy, politics, art, love, drugs....
And I guess political activism could be counted as a hobbie.

I'm doing a masters in animation at the minute so all my time is fed into that.
I doodle obsesively and have tons of little books filled with scribbles.
I used to spend alot of time watching films, reading, going to the pub,
& used to alot of painting/mixed media stuff but can now only do it when am on holiday.

...and can be found cozying up to various programming language books while nuzzling my framed picture of Jdg.
I used to build acoustic/electic instruments long ago, but dont have the tools or space for it any longer.

its right now a hobby just trying to stay warm in portland oregon.
also, i started a cactus collection ... the trichocerus family ( Trichocereus peruvianus and the obvious pachanoi for landscaping ).
considering a pet: Bufo Alvarius and lol they're uh ... interesting.

thats a good idea. becuase my hobbies i do too much, and they are kinda lame,.
my hobbies used to be the same as jdgs, but then i moved in with a lady. so now we watch movies, but not just sometimes, fuck.. we will rent like 10 movies a week from video stores and then 5 netflicks at once..
i do other shit too, but its rare, like to walk/hike go 2 beaches, drink tasty liquors, take pictures, try and teach my cats to talk,
and most rarly, make art with paint or pens or charcoal or computers, ppl would say i make really nice art, and thought i would become a famous artist and stuff, but ive kinda stoped that,. i guess thats a kinda common thing to have happen when ppl get older and more settly downy. thats lame though. i was good. AM good. fuk.
can somebody make a fun visual art community with monthly projects and things? wouldnt that be fun? it would be.

kel, this place is pretty effin' awesome, if not pretty effin nerdy Concept Art ... it's about concept art mostly, but has a solid community of knowledgeable artists and honest crits.
