Not long ago I awoke to a yellow dawn. It seems that a pallid overcast hung with the smoke from the bushfires, and it coloured the day yellow. The trees, the buildings, the people, the cat… all yellow. It certainly had a mood, and it sent me rummaging though old computer files, until I found a piece of music I composed a few years ago. An oil-slick of a piece, with a sleazy retro buzz. It had no name, so I named it ‘yellow dawn’. It combines classical and electronic sounds.
You can download it at my main blog site here: link
The photo was shot when the city looked at its yellow seamiest, but it wasn’t seamy enough for my mood, so I helped it along a little.

Thanks for your feedback GregT, much appreciated. Wasn't actually sure it was the sort of music to post to em411, but what does that even mean?
