--> Well i think there are some cool ideas on the design of this site so far but a couple small tweaks would improve it alot.

-I like how the friends system works. You can click on friends and it shows all the recent blogs your friends have, but i wish it had the most recent ones at the top. Or at least a way to sort it.

-In the same vein as the friends tab with the blogs, why not have a second column running down the side showing all the releases your friends have posted.

-then of course bringing avatars back. but i know thats on a different thread.

Song restarting could easily be addressed with an AJAX system for inserting comments. As far as sortable friends lists go, I agree with that as well.

Also, the whole friends list thing is odd in that I click request friend, and am automatically a persons friend and see all their stuff, etc. Shouldn't friendships be mutual?

RSS feeds are lacking, though I suppose that makes emFeeds more of an option for people.

There are more little things, but I hardly want to add to any sort of discontent towards BR's work. Tons of stuff is great here, and none of it would be here without him. Three cheers either way, Bogan!

I think for tags to really take off and be useful here, it's necessary to allow anyone to tag any thread/track.. not just the author. And to be able to choose from existing tags to try to enforce an agreement on terms (by using autocomplete/autosuggest like features when someone is typing a new tag) Turn the tag system into a fully fledged folksonomy, otherwise it's just a poor mans search function.

Unlimited amount of tags per thread/track/item.
Anyone can add tags to a thread.
People adding a new tag have a way of seeing if what theyre thinking of already exists as a tag in the system, so they can reuse that word.

i havnt thought it through carefully, these are some things that come to mind at the moment though.
