--> ok i think i am actually hours away from finishing the last track on my ep that i've been working on for 1.5 years..... i will post it here for final advice when it's readyish.

in the meantime, i need to come up with a good name. i had a net ep before this that i called "chirping data" which i thought was a rad name, but it was easy to pick because that was written on my screen as i ran SETI@home. ;)

how do you figure out names for a release? i need tips on brainstorming techniques.

also, the biggest landmark in our city (and the biggest air-supported structure in the world) collapsed today. I live 2 blocks away so i took pics link and here are some vids link neato.

i always liked funnily long titles like kid606's "Dramatic Pause Of Silence To Signify The End Of The Album And Beginning Of Additional Songs Included On The CD To Make People Feel Better About Buying The CD Instead Of The Vinyl Version"

hey that's what audiobulb always does!

How about "Epic Symphonic Italian Metals"?

Or try to think about Colors, the movie with Robert Duvall and Sean Penn.

"You screwed up now, man... You joined a gang."

No wait! Thats gonna be my Skweee ep's name.

Hey, I found your fingers!
Mlbot and I were discussion how your music sounded like "My First Gabber" - in a good way.

i have a reciept that says
"your cashier was sunny"

i named my first album after a snippet of speech that i left in a recording that ended up being the intro track
"i had it for a second"

go to the library, and take a random phrase, chapter title, etc from a children's book about history, science, whatever

The Next Jeneration

I dunno how I name things. I name other things way better, movies, plays, etc. I dont name songs very well though, but I usually don't pick something that is a lyric in a song. I say think of stuff that happened over the course of you making this ep, personally or in the news or whatever. Or tip your hat to your creative muse that helped you, like a favorite cd or movie.

call it. "My big vaginal album." It will go over big with the critics.

yes it would draw attention

what about "growler"
