in the uk, one of our terrestrial tv channels is called itv.
i wonder if there will be a lawsuit of somesort? i cant see them being reet chuffed about apple stealing their name.

did he ever say itv? the logo is an apple symbol + TV, maybe it's named AppleTV afterall.
as for protection.. well you probably have SIM + TAN codes like on a regular phone and probably some challenge-response when syncing to itunes.. no idea if that's sufficient though yeah

the events.macnn link and the macrumors link both refer to 'itv'. but yeah on the pics its just (apple logo)tv.
maybe they clocked on and just hope people will call it the itv through association/habbit....seems to be working already :P
