--> I just walked into the other room and the TV was on. All of a sudden, I hear an amen break. I turn around and it was an OIL OF OLAY commercial. LOL. I know that amens are used all the time in commercials, but that was just ridonkulous. This is like some kind of beauty product that women use or something (I'm kindof a nerd so I dunno).

The amen was all chopped up, programmed and shit. It was hilarious.

I actually still like the old Amen even after all these years of overuse. If it's used well, it's still a good sample. I'm getting sick of hearing a certain Aphex Twin track on Bob Costas radio ads and that same tune I know i've heard in at least 3 more commercials on either the radio or tv. It's a really good tune that is just out of place whenever it's used

pisses me off to hear electronic music in promo for a radio station that only plays classic rock or top 40 or anything except electronic music. i mean damn, you never hear Hank Williams Jr. in an electronic music station promo. wut the fuzzknuckle!?!
