During practice on Tuesday night, Becky Jim and I tried to come up with a third track that we could put on a demo for our live looping outfit (name suggestions on postcard please).
We wanted something upbeat that sounded different from our first and second contenders.
So we tried starting by looping a few sax parts (instead of initially kicking off a click track or a drum sample) and we brought my new Boomwhackers (top Christmas Present) into play.
We came up with this. I think we need to shorten it a bit by moving between sections quicker (the looping of the initial vocal sample lasts way too long) but I'm pretty pleased with it for a first effort.
Do you think people would want to listen to this in a live situation, or is it just too random in a bad way?
