oh! vietnamese sandwiches! they rule
They're everywhere in Sydney. lettuce, cucumber, pickled cabbage, cheese, coriander, carrot, shallots, onion and soy sauce on a fresh long bread roll. Sometimes they use some kind of suace that has anise and pepper in it too. the best, jerry, the best! they're hella cheep too

If there's one thing I envy about our American friends, it's the ability the to get a good sandwich any where any time. Try getting one in sydney after 7pm, see how far you get. motherfucking soul food po boys!

I had one stuffed with oysters a month ago and it was good. Really good. My friend's fiance had the same thing, except her oysters were wrapped with bacon before being battered and fried. They called it a Rich Girl. that sounds disgusting
Also, my favorite homemade sandwich lately is tortilla espanola on homemade bread with tomato sauce and slivers of parm cheese. So simple and so good.
Oh and when I make spaghetti and meatballs the meatball subs afterwards are the bomb. Yeah, the rich girl was kinda gross but the po boy rocked.

What about the motherfucking MUFFULETA? There is a louisiana samich for ya! I want both in one day. from the French Quarter. My stomach would blow up btw: 5 pages of pure samich. I love you guys! sammiches with french fries! unheard of in Australia
