I finally got around to dumping the video from a live-pa I did at a renegade Robot Uprising party last summer on the Vancouver SkyTrain public transit system. :D

Hilarious. The video doesn't show too much of the robots, but there's several galleries of hot robot action on the party website.

hardly a sausagefest.

like I said, video doesn't show much of the robots, the train was a little too packed to move. ;)

lol

that is so my new avatar!

fun

not only is that funny.... it's awesome!.... great work... looked like a lot of fun to do

how did you power the gear? batteries? or do they have power outlets on the trains?

this whole thing is such a great idea.

rad video! i missed this cause i wasn't around, but i went on a circle line party once in london and it was teh radness.

Quite rad.

did the train driver know?
cool, thanks for posting this on em411. I was hoping to see it from livepa.org. either way, looks like a shit load of fun!

fuckin awesome!

That looks rad! Thanks for sharing!

no drivers! all run by computer machines.

yow, forgot about this. :D

quicks: the gear and soundsystem were powered by a battery thing the promoters brought - iirc it was this one: link

actually not bad for the price!! it powered two smallish PA speakers, a power amp, and all my equipment for a good 45 minutes. I was impressed, tho the promoters said that if we turned up the bass it cut the time we could play music in half...

Dude that was awesome. Something like that would get busted in less than five seconds if it happened on the Washington DC subway. We had some good parties here 10 years ago but nothing like that now.

I should move to Canada.
