About me
I started writing music in mid to late 2002. My style has grown and changed a lot since then and i've dabbled in everything from IDM to Industrial to Ambient. I have two main projects at the moment - Mr. Panda, to house my general works. Music under this name tends to be more melodic, structured, and upbeat and pulls ideas from many different genres. Subbasement, to house my Dark-Ambient/Ambient-Noise style pieces which I didn't feel fit appropriately under my original project. I made the decision to split them so each style could be more focused as well as to make submitting demos, and that sort of thing, easier.

Electronic Music other: Ahoyhoy
Store Written June 20 2006
Ahoyhoy. I have been coming to this site for a few years now and I doubt anyone knows much about me, so if your interested, here is my life story condensed into a few words.

I was born in Harrogate, England (About half way between York and Leeds) in 1984 to American parents. My family and I lived on a farm until I was about five years old. My family moved around a lot back and forth between England and the states(Ohio and Virginia), but I'll always consider England my home.

In about 1998, I moved to where I am now, Florida. I was mostly a good kid through highschool. During highschool is when I first started following my creative urges more passionately, through visual art. Later on, I took my first real interest in computers, and totally by chance happened upon a demo of Fruity Loops, at the time not thinking much of it. During my senior year, I gradually started developing a taste for Electronic Music, and went back to tinkering with my own stuff. At first I had a rough time translating my visual ideas into music (read: it sounded like crap) having never played any instruments and having no musical knowledge what so ever. My style, technique, and musical taste has developed a lot since then, although I still get comments that my music is very visual, so I guess it shows through.

I'm currently working on the AA portion of a degree in Computer Engineering (at least that's the plan) and am looking for work. I'm about 5'5" with dark brown shoulder length hair. I wear glasses (Why yes, they are hornrimmed, how did you know?). I'm single and not really looking too seriously at the moment. Girls cost a bit more money and time than I have at the moment. Outside of music, my hobbies are computers, painting, philosophy, cooking and knitting. I also like dystopian sci-fi.

I also live in the following places. Feel free to say hello, +friend, whatever: link link link

That's about it. The pic was from a recent gig.

No, not I. It is kind of fun learning all this about people who were before, just a screenname.

I'm working on a new EP, but how long it will take to complete, it's hard to tell. When I have them ready to send out though, you'll be the first to know.

And thanks for the link as well. I know a drummer. I've actually had a lot more trouble finding bassists than anything else.
