The hardcore among us remember the ambiguous post-modern disastrato.
People loved him. People threatened to kill him.
His avatar manipulation was masterful. His eye for absurdity and surrealism refined.
And now we have PAWEL. IMO, PAWEL is a bastardization of the disastrato mentality.
Is there any artistic merit to pawelian behavior?

dis had a lot of truly useful input to balance out his "episodes". and he was the first bad guy. that's got to count for something. anybody attempting to follow him comes across as just a kind of weak sequel, no?
i've also wondered if pawel is em come back to punish people and push buttons. and spread the word about cats and supercollider.

dis is an amazing dude.
pawel is annoying.
my first exposure to him was an old mixit, and people were ragging on him. I thought it was brilliant, adventurous, and original, if noisy and abrasive.
I've had some great IM conversations with him since then....dude is one of a kind.
Pawel has his moments of troll-innovation, but still seems mostly like a troll, without much merit.

if pawel is dis then dis must have been kicked in the head by a mule and then fallen over backwards down a well and come out three days later with a new identity that is minus a few IQ points.
