it's all yours in just 360 more payments!!!

congrats man. own a house is dope.

wow congrats mang. housewarming party?
I thought it was going to be, "I got my busted ass vintage drum machine with knobs missing from ebay today!" ;)

This is much better. :D

Awesome! Congrats.

We bought our house mostly as a result of opportunity. Happy accident.

But buying a house from your parent...wow. And it's yours to modify as you see fit.

NICE! Congrats!

Btw, how are you liking your Q80EXE?

we bought our first house back in april. there was a slightly stressful kitchen reno that took 5 weeks longer than it should have, but now we're pretty settled in.

being really smart, wise investors, we bought at the peak of the market here in toronto, so the best we can hope for is to break even when we sell in 4 years.

but THEN, i'm going to do exactly what you did - buy my mom & dad's house, which is on a farm!

best thing about owning a house is the payments.

dont forget to refinance in 5 years and buy that Eventide H8000 you've been lusting after with the check.
LOL good call!
refi'd my way into a kyma.

that's great news, buying a house from our mom is such a sweet picture

i've bought my house about three years ago, and I still have about (roughly estimated) five years at least to turn it into something decent
but it's fun to decide what goes where, and to have a studio-room is priceless

good luck and congratulations!

congrats on the purchase fellow debter.

we bought our first almost 3 years ago. aside from painting rooms and spending tons of money and time on the yard, it feels eerily similar to renting. gotta keep reminding myself - equity, equity, equity...

woah, sean h is all growed up huh? congrats dude!

you're not in debt til 60.
ownership of real estate is often misunderstood or lost income.
if you hold it for a little while, you will (excepting the worst years, like 1980ish) make money.
nothing like a little harley davidson stock ... or googlestox...

congrats! we're about to buy our second place, not a house cause this city is fubar for prices, but still something bigger so i will have studio space too! woooooo! and i'll be paying the mortgage till i'm 67! allllright! ;)

it is rad owning though, you can do whatever you want and not having to worry about getting kicked out ever is a nice bonus.

awesome, sean. at least you're paying your way to ownership it's not rental. congrats.
