why isn't a layout like this commonplace? is it because it costs too much to manufacture? it seems like it would help people spend more time learning theory than the fingering of the instrument itself

that things kind of layed out like a guitar you know? i always thought of the guitar as six pianos layed side by side. that thing would definitely make site reading a bit more of a bitch
