Artists that feature on ‘Volta’ include electronic pioneer Mark Bell of LFO and two unique drummers – Chris Corsano (the improvisational drummer who has worked with Sonic Youth amongst others) and Brian Chippendale from Lightening Bolt.

Chris Corsano has played at the venue where I work at least twice now!
I missed him both times he's played

I may finally get to see her on tour!

i love bjork

i would marry her even if it made me a polyandrist.

*excitement*

timbaland!

Awesome, just as long as those dudes don't let her sing... just kidding (well, sort of). I love her production, but her voice is a little too for me much at times

ok, i feel like an outsider, but doesn't anyone ese think she's a little overrated? i mean, i've followed her since the sugarcubes and i think her voice is very interesting, but i don't think she's much more than a kind of flaky singer..... *ducks*

bjork in 1995 was great.
doesn't seem like she's grown much tho *pidgons*

yes!!!!!!
LOL, how could you, ferny and jdg? Both of you are on my blacklist now.

She had me up to vespertine...but then she kind of went bobby mcferrin...

bobby rox, you sir are now on MY blacklist. dewee doo- doo- doo- doooo- doo- doo doo doo- doo doo dooooo, don't worry...

seriously, I see new bjork material as good news..no matter what the cool people think. ;)

no more dokaka?

saying you dont like the last couple of bjork albums means you dont like matthew herbert, oval, matmos, dan bell .... i could go on, the albums keep getting better and better thanks to the standard of musicianns who shes collaberating with. im intrigued at the prospect of corsano.

looking forward to this - more drums!

the pitchfork interviews pretty good link

bjork said: "I mean, the human race, we are a tribe, let's face it, and let's stop all this religious bullshit. I think everybody, or at least a lot of my friends, are just so exhausted with this whole self-importance of religious people. Just drop it. We're all fucking animals, so let's just make some universal tribal beat. We're pagan. Let's just march."

"birthday" is a great song, and the sugarcubes were a great band. her first solo album was pretty good too... after that... just excellent production and not much else

Yeah, I've liked everything before Medulla.
Medulla itself was... very hit and miss. Some good songs, but for the most part, I was a bit underwhelmed.
