Do any of you own a DS and any wifi games? Wanna hook up sometime for a sesh?

the browser looks cool but i heard it was a little slow, is the speed fine for browsing?
i just started playing animal crossing the other day. i have completely fell in love with it, the animals are just too damn cute. not too far on it yet, havent even bought any turnips yet. just paid off my first mortgage tho, tom nooks upgrading my house at the mo, lol. btw - do you need the insurance in animal crossing? i blanked the guy when he first came as it seemed really dodgy and now he's gone...

Insurance is dumb, don't get it. Just ignore the guy. Better yet, talk to him when you have no money - he gets really pissed.
The browser works great...for text and all, it works fine. I tend to use it in single screen render mode rather than to view full big webpages. It's a little slow for graphics intensive sites, but for gmail, craigslist, popurls, personal google, and the other mobile portals, I love it. Some people have even set up aim/google talk/yahoo messenger portals for chatting, too.

The only wifi game I have so far is Animal Crossing (Actually, my GF's. not mine, I swear!), but I'm planning on getting Mario Kart soon. I would totally be down for some racing action.
Oh, and fuck that insurance selling otter. He basically just steals your money. He's an ass. And Tom Nook is a loan shark.
So uh...where do you get the broswer? I've been looking into doing some homebrew music stuff on my DS too, which would be fun...

You have to import the browser from the UK or japan...it's not coming out in the US till June. Let me see if I can track down a link.
It's a bit expensive, but to me it was totally worth it.

Yes. In single screen mode you will have to do scrolling up and down (columns are rendered as one big continuous column). Slightly ugly but still functional. In dual screen mode (where you see the whole page on one screen and a zoomed in version on another) it looks like normal.
Of course, PooTube doesn't embed.
