You see some amazing gypsy musicians playing on street corners here in Greece from time to time, but the clarinet guys in this video are just great..

Your post on p. 1 of the thread reminds me of a really hot day last summer when I saw a gang of little gypsy kids strip off & jump into a fountain on a busy city centre roundabout. Some Greek kids watching in bemusement near by, as their parents ushered them away. haha

I don't mind the booty closeups atoll. it's all about the one in the black, with the sequined cross on her shirt like she's a psychedelic Joan of Arc.

oh, yeah, and freakin awesome music. I don't really understand what's going on rhythmically or tonally but it's amazing. the synth also seems to be detuned a bit from the other stuff, which sounds even more amazing. if this is the kind of stuff Bulgarians listen to when they wanna get down, they must have some killer parties.

the video of course made it even more hypnotic.

@ license yeah, man, the dancing is another element to the music. you can see how they are feeling the groove. especially the girls, because their rhythms are not heard at all. so listening to the music is one thing (and the music is great), but seeing the dancers adds a whole 'nother rhythmic element to the subdivisions of the music. "hypnotic" is the word.

maybe somebody who can read and write in the cyrillic alphabet could help us? I really want this CD. I haven't bought a CD in 10 years, and I want to buy this if i have to pay a bulgarian to fly here. I know some bulgarians, but I lost contact with them a year or two back when they moved.
and Somebody please tell me why he plays the clarinet with his hand over the end?
