mux, I've seen some of your old studio pics and yours have always been among my faves. a porntastic amount of knobs but invitingly laid out so that it's not intimidating.
what is that screen right next to the micro modular?

here's my current living room studio: link (note the pimpin' STFU Helsinki poster and the crappy lowlight quality of my camera)
at my parents' place last fall - the g5 is still there, genelecs are at my own flat, most of the other stuff moves around with me whenever I do: link

filarion.. that's a dope set up. wide range of sounds w/just those 3 pieces of hardware.. of course the G2 is like a can of worms.. happy worms that want to make sounds...

cheers.. yeah, I'm enjoying it a lot. while the Evolver is fun, i'm still undecided whether I really need to keep it.. i go to it for "icing" on almost finished tracks, but rarely to make a bassline or lead sound (which is a pity, since it's got sweet bass capabilities). the g2 is the holy grail for sure, so much fun to be had with it, without me even going that deep into synthesis, it's all about the wacky sequencing for me.

I know, it's not really ergonomical to have the laptop on the living room table, i've been meaning to look into some kind of riser for it.. but will probably simply end up using an external keyboard

lol at those ears, they might come handy one day
usually i mix with the headphones, i know they're really too far apart, but i use them rarely (sleeping kids and the like)
i'm gonna rearrange the whole room soon, and probably get some smaller monitors that'll have better placement

you could just move your desk a few feet away from the wall and ount those monitors on some shelves or stands or something and listen at low levels.
i want those metal ears too. they'd go well w/my cyber nose hairs.
