so, i like these Artic Monkeys quite a lot, as it happened for the Hives, Strokes, yeah yeah yes, etc. I mean, i like just a few of these rock (indie? ) bands but i really love that stuff when i happen to like it (does this expression makes any sense?).
What about you? I'm lately listening more to that than to EM. And i'm surprised by that.

music is in a bad place. We are in some parallel universe of the 70's. fucking awful. I look at these fucking bands in Magnet. Arcade Fire, the "fill in the blank", etc etc. I just think .. "you don't really like music, I don't believe you".

Deathcab for Cutie is the main one that bothers me. Cigarette music. Milk & kittens. I'd rather listen to Versus. I like bands that know they are pretensious. Not some self-depricating bullshit.
