Electronic Music other: Buried In Time New Site
Written March 22 2007 , Tags: new site, buried in time, beavis
yes finally new site that isn't dumb ignatius HTML. this site is the result of many stunts that required helmets and goggles. goggles were on loan by ex-google coders w/kind hearts. i think they should let us keep the goggles for future stunts but nerds are sentimental about goggles.. even when they are google rich.
so please have a gander at the new site and also please let us know if your browser gets confused and can't seem to unfuck itself enough to view the site. haven't had any issues on this end but who knows what 10.x.x.x.x.x.x.x update will do to your mac or what vista explorer firefox greasemonkey beaver will have to say about it. could be that your linux redhat oprah mod makes all the html belong to saddam and then the terrorists win and you can't see our awesomeness and all our flash xml css makes hari kari only option and we don't want that because dead people can't listen to our music.
cheers and seriously.. let us know if you have any trouble w/the site.
thank you #1 LGO for teh awesomeness. i will buy you drinks on my tab until plastic icecaps melt in credit Antarctica.
also, stay tuned for GASP full length in the coming months
looks geat, not the snappiest of sites, but it works fine here (Safari 1.3.2 at my job).
It looks AWESOME!!! totally beatiful.
very smooth transitions. I love the sliding tabs.
i love the new site! flash = good.
Very sweet. I like how the vertical tabs give you room to expand the design.
Because I'm on em411 at 7:30 am, I'm not going to ask why mapmap and RRine are.
i like the looks of it. the sliding tabs are definitlely cool.
my 2 cents: i just have one little usability issue with the scrollbar. i didn't even notice it at first, especially since it's not the standard scroll bar and doesn't have any "grab me" kind of design markings to it, you know? and the status bar in firefox mac kept saying "transferring..." so i thought the lower part of the page was about to load any second. it never loaded and finally i noticed the funky minimal scrollbar. anyways, kind of confusing for a general audience maybe. maybe not so much for people who are familiar with flash slickness though.
edit - i think if the scrollbar were inside the little individual tab window pages, it would be a LOT more noticable and user-friendly.
hey Roshi, haha 7:30am is a bit early to be here, this place is my msn.com
on Firefox 220.127.116.11. OSX 10.3.9 it's fucked. shows less than half the page. maybe a third.
word. turd! da bird. absurd! something stirred. you've been lured. your cured!
works great on my system.
and definitively looks awesome.
those sliding tabs are wicked
on the home-page, the bottoms of the bottom-most letters are cut off. (Macbook + Firefox [Intel Build])
the site looks awesome. and my browser didn't even need to unfuck itself!
i have to turn my laptop sideways to read it.. but thats ok i guess.
nagrom, look for the scrollbar on the far side of the browser window. that threw me off too.
