hey everyone : D
im looking for a piece of hardware...a drum machine, a good one that has lots of sounds and, well, you like and can recommend to me (im a bit of a hardware newb.) around £100-£300, which for you yanks is $200-$600. (or lower than this as long as its good.)
my ultimate aim for a drum machine has to be the elektron, but for now, i have to set my sights a little lower. im looking to make drum beats similar to someone like Jimmy Tamborello to begin with, cause i like his music :P
thanks
(ps. no offence meant by yanks)
(maybe a little)
(no, no offence)

Electribes are the cheap way to go. I use the Korg ESX.... or just wait till the Roger Lynn/Dave Smith drum machine comes out!!

yeah, second hand electribes the way to go, or if your really strapped you can sometimes pick up an mc303 for less than £100
