--> so i have this idea to do a multi artist open collaboration process with
-audio
-midi
-patches
-host files
-picures link
-lyrics
-somethingelsetoo?

ill collect for the first pack (send things to celibacyclub AT NOSPAM gmail.com) and then make it available to everyone. the collab can then splinter off in many directions as ideas and motivation allow.

some things to consider:
are your filenames helpful?
should you say what the bpm or key is? i think yes for audio where thats applicable.
does your max or pd patch have the needed externals?
does your host file have the needed vsts? (lets avoid destributing pirated soft)

so, whos up for it? maybe u just want to send a file for now? maybe youve got ideas for themes or processes?

alright, I sent the Bidule setup. I'll contribute some more in other ways when I'm not so busy.
Recent blogs: Co-Op, CO-OP Jobbie, Record deal?

would you be interested in an orchestral waltz midi?

I collect static and hiss from shortwave radios, if that's of use?

yeah that sounds really good dach! send me some of your favorite bits.
( celibacyclub @ gmail.com )

orchestral waltz? yeah that sounds ok! waltz n bass baby!

i have some largest sound files of classical guitar lying around on my computer if you are interested.
evan

hell yeah even!

i love guitar sounds

I'll try and get some stuff done and send it in early next week.. what about a nord modular g2 patch that would run on the free G2 Software demo, would that ok? I'll submit plenty of other stuff as well, just curious cause that might be fun similar to the Bidule setup.

yeah filarion, thats the idea, to include stuff like patches. there are a few g2 owners on em411 so a g2 patch for hydra, yeah def cool.

so, as for other stuff,

midi, we need more midi.

and sound, stuff recorded with a mic, your hardware synths, your voice, would be better than things achieved solely through software.

if anyone could get a recording of someone talking in there sleep.. that would be super rad..

though i imagine hard to pull off.

I've apparently spoken in C++ in my sleep on two occasions. I wish someone had recorded it, I'd like to type it in to see if it'd compile..

it probably would have memory leaks.
; )
god that is nerdy

It might be useful/nice to release tracks created from hydra projects in a source form, or at least as seperated layers (drums, pads, melodies, misc) ? It'd certainly help with remixing
