--> that's done !
just booked my flight to Sydney on may 22nd.

my girl is over there since february and boys I'm getting crazy with spring arriving.

but it's not the only reason that make me leaving this ****ing country (France...)

life here is getting harder and harder, and the presidential election is an horrible bad joke.
we must vote next week for a new president and I feel that life in france is going to become just:

"work more to earn more > work like a slave"
"if you're not french, you must leave"

and: "if you're a musician or a dj, the sound level must be really bassless not to bore the old fascist neighbours"

so it's enough for me: just leaving with a backpack and a laptop.

I hope to work just a little, to make dj sets here and there, to swim in the pacific ocean and to live like a hippie in a van during at least one year.

it's a shame that I didn't organise the stfu marseille. It would have been a nice event and meeting again bla, VC, ufoel, quip, daswesen and all the stfu roma crew would have been a BIG BANGING PARTY !!

but > later men

2 of the lads are over there at the moment absolutly loving it....they never wanna come back!!"

Hey Kris ! sell all !!!

I wanna go aswell :s

great paul, thanks for that link.. now I'm browsing kiwi jobs and fantasizing about moving there. :p

i remember reading once that Australia was the second most racist country in the world, but that was way back in the bad old days when South Africa still had apartheid, so who knows, maybe they've finally taken first place.

that said, there are dumbass racists everywhere, so best of luck and get used to the water draining clockwise.

cartman hates hippies.

Hey Lematt that's why you haven't sent me that sets for the blueroom yet..
i totally agree that moving is always a good thing. I'l be living in Barcellona from july.
Paul what are you going to do in New Zealand?

I'm gonna be training to be a telecommunications engineer where two of my mates work, company car too I still need a telephone interview though but so far everything looks good.
If I dont get this I've sent my CV off to more or less every recording studio in Aukland and I've got talking to some engineers that said they'd help me find work. Everyone over there seems so much more laid back and friendly

good luck down-under dood!
hey, didn't you guys elect that chevrolet royal person for president recently?
fuck france - lets dance!

i can see STFU Wellington on the cards already.

good luck old bean and keep in touch.

> Bluermutt: yes Gio that's why you haven't get that DJ set. In 2008

Barcelona is awesome for sure ! There's an extremely active (and trashy) nightlife there !

> Quip: YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH. If you live in a loftish palace in Berlin be sure that you will see my beanface ! ;)

11t1 australia used to be VERY racist (like 30 - 40 years ago I guess ). . . it is still quite alot out in the country esp. in far north queensland.. like there will be two separate towns 1km from each other, one for aborigines, one for whiteys. . . but the aborigines are just as racist as the white guys, so its not like either party is any worse.

Most of the racism these days is between aborigines & non-aborigines, and it still goes both ways - Its not that bad but its definitely there. Aborigines are still pissed that we stole their land, and white people only ever notice the aborigines that sit around in the parks in the city drinking all day bludging off wellfare and insulting everyone that goes near them, even though that's only really a small proportion of the population - thats the most visible part so people make judgements based on that.

Hey Lemat, if you need any info about Sydney lemme know.

While the systemic racism (govt & media - who seek to divide us) in Sydney is fucked, the city's greatest strength is the diversity of cultures that live here.
