--> I can't sleep, It fucking sucks ass, been going on for about a fucking week now. I've not slept one hour this night, and right now I'm just waiting to pass out ...

Anyone got suggestions?

I used to sleep biphasically.
I'd take a 1.5 hour nap from 7 to 8:30, then I'd go to sleep at either 2:00AM, or 3:30AM.
I had a lot more time, and tons of energy every day.
It was wonderful, but my parents wouldn't let me do it anymore because i'd wake them up in the middle of the night all of the time.

i don't sleep much, but i am cool with it.

go to sleep at the same time every night, wake up at the same time every morning.

drinking is a bad idea. i bet you have atleast mild depression, either caused by insomnia or the insomnia is caused by depression. they usually go hand in hand. alcohol, being a depressant, will only worsen the problem.

it you have things on your mind that are keeping you up, my room mate and i have an activity we have dubed "ending the sitcom" where, at the end of the night, we sit on the couch and talk about what went on during the day. another thing that helps me get to sleep when i have too much going on in my head is to write, even if you ball up the peice of paper you write on and toss it in the trash, it helps to get it out.

exersize, eat right. it all helps with insomnia and depression.
