I've been in Victoria for the past 5 years and this is my last summer here. I'm originally from Texas and came here due to university. I want to hook up with others who are in the area to attempt to showcase our music or at the very least get together for some jams. So let me know if you're in the area and hopefully we can get together and make some noise.

this label 'wagon repair' is based out of victoria i thought . they make techno. i think its pretty cool. maybe i'm wrong?
Victoria Canada?! I'm a mere 2 or 3 day drive from there! Drop by, we'll have a beer.
I like victoria a lot, although I hear it's less interesting if you've spent more then a month there. "The land of the newly wed and nearly dead" they say, cause there's young people and retirees and not much in between. hehe, I've yet to have traveled the rest of Canada. I've family in Sooke, a mere 45min away from here. It'd be a pleasure to have a beer with ye sometime.
...but yeah, after about the first year the novelty of Victoria wore off. Nice summers and cheap quality pot still make it worthwhile though. i'm inside right now i can't tell
they call Victoria "the velvet rut". ie, it's a rut, but it's really quite comfortable, very little reason to dig yourself out.
come over to Vancouver some weekend, I'd be willing to go for beers. worst case, I'm playing a small show there on June 16th.

I still do like visiting...haven't been for a while. Ah the sooke pot holes. I love that place.
