Lately i've been getting a bit tired of all this fiddling with samples and programming synths without a keyboard. I'd like to get into some more interesting live stuff.
Can anyone point me towards some exciting live acts. The madder the instrumentation etc the better!!

Live?
Caribou is pretty cool - two drummers + samples + guitar, and it gets all mixed up.

well, be creative. set up a microphone. fart into it. use a guinea pig, they make funny noises. or a dolphin. live on stage. or spoons. maybe "jack lalanes power juicer". kids toys, submarines, bb guns. record the noise of grass groing. nightingales have kids running around on stage with microfones they swallowed. violins played by monkeys. an anvil with a hammer you pound on it (etc)..........

yeah!! this is what i'm after.
the combination of instruments that cascade uses works so well. It slightly reminds me of that album of Moondog covers.
cheers all of you. top suggestions.

Analog
Add n to (X) stuff ('avant hard' album) showed how heavy you can be with just vintage synths.
They basically sound like black sabbath, but entirely analogue (except the drummer)
a band called SAY we put on at our club night had bleeping noises from a LanguageMaster. kind of tape card things: mint. And a ukelele.
I like th instrument known as "pirate Organ", that reed organ wind instrument that (melodica?) that sometimes get on dub tunes.
