in the future, you (anyone/man/woman/reptile) *MUST* make it very very clear from the very beginning of a relationship that music (or whatever else you're passionate about) is an integral part of your life and that no one fucks with it but yourself. If the other person does not accept this, then you move on. Sometimes one gets so caught up in a relationship, specially in the beginnings, that ends putting up more time to it and not music. Once the flames of love cool down and you start dedicating more time to music, the other person, who's by then used to you giving him/her/it all 606 to 808 hours of your time a day, will obviously start bitching.
in other words, set your grounds from the berry beginning. and do not be afraid to do so. you'll live a more pleasant life.
