the censorship is ridiculous

for the record: i've been temp-banned. i can't be exactly sure why because i was not _informed_ why. i can only assume it's because i called two individuals village idiots. for this, i do apologize, and regret saying it. and i say that sincerely.
now some of you reading this may now think i'm over reacting by posting this. i don't feel this way. i wish only to express my feelings on the matter.
i feel that the censorship is undue. i feel as though it is too selective, and with no open information as to why or how decisions are made, i will go so far as to say it's ridiculous.
it seems to me that enough rules can be broken to the point where you can no longer gauge whether or not the rule you're breaking will get you temp-banned. for example, offensive links can be posted, personal insults can fly, etc., and nothing will happen. this gave me a sense of safety in calling these two individuals village idiots (however unwarranted).
i bring this up in the interest of open disclosure. i can only hope that some sort of standard can be put into place, and that the moderators of this site will begin to better inform members.

yeah I got a temp ban for posting a cut and paste bit of text from urban dictionary, defining the word hater.
Yet, others in the thread called each other ignorant and cocks, wankers ect. but got no ban? or maybe they did? Still the site is going to be effected.
EDIT: I was just temp banned right now for saying someone didn't know anything about a paticular situation.

mixed tape can spread whatever disinformation that you want. It's simply not true. I should know. I predicted this sort of thing anyhow. let someone take an inch they go for the mile. Happy now? It'll just get worse. unless we do something.

A simple page telling users what is, and is not, acceptable should be put in place.
I've only been using the site for a short while and its already obvious that Everamzah is one of the most active and helpful users here.
To be banned for such a comment is absurd. Who makes these decisions?
Who are the moderators? I'd like to see them try to defend this decision. LAME.
