so the new site is up and running.
first impressions:
*looks like an old version circa 2002/2003.
*no more avatars then? shame but admin/em wanted rid of them about 2-3 years ago.
*cant seem to see comments on my blog. will I ever be able to see them or are blogs cul-de-sacs? <= ignore this. Just realised theres a big gap between the blog and comments.
asterix doesnt seem to do the unordered list anymore. does *make things bold still?*
like the touch of clicking the + symbol in the forum and it expands the options (edit | pm | report | permalink | etc) replacing the dropdown menu.
like the [expand] option on blog entries to open up the textfield.
cant say too much about the player yet as I have a little issue with flash on firefox on linux but I cant see any link to download tunes. Is this no longer an option?
this is how it looks to me on FF and Opera on Linux:

Have noticed that when you quote someone in the forum, it boots you to the index page (submitted as bug)

first impressions> i know it's still under construction but, too much (visual) emphasis is being placed on the # of people who like a post and the releases aren't getting enough focus. no more avatars? the ads are much more instrusive (semi-understandable), plus no one wants to be my friend (understandable).

yeh there is a button to download (right click the fourth button)

on the player itself, the buttons are skip back, pause, skip forward then the next button you can right click and 'download this song'
