i fucking love this picture zanf: link

haha...that was a dolphin shaped balloon that escaped a young child at this anti rascism festival in burgess park a couple of years ago.

this was another balloon that was loose around the park as well: link

That building pic looks straight out of akira. Makes me dreamy

that hanging building was in macgyver.

interesting to see how strong central cores in highrise buildings are, isnt it. Of course they *have* to be.
its overdue to re-examine a certain event in NY a few years back, based on this knowledge.
thats my tip of the day for a better world.

i like the fact there is something called a 'munching attachment'. to keep the noise to a minimum apparently.

so.... what's the deal? Why are they munching this building from the bottom up?

random pic!

so how is the building looking now?

Ive got my camera with me today so Ill pop down after work.

They are actually doing the same thing to another building nearby. Ill get some pics of that as well.

you know, in the arcade game "rampage", that would be fallen over by now.

and i would have eaten a toilet or two.

ok, pix updated but there doesnt look like much has gone on from street level, excpet the tarp been put around the remaining part. link

Next time I have to go to the Lloyds building, I'll try and take my camera [security might be funny about it] and get some shots of all the ground work that theyve been doing.
