--> i just moved to a bigger place. it's chawesome, but the chaos is driving me insane. i haven't moved in 8 years and i seem to have accumulated a shiteload of stuff in that time. sorting through it all is not fun. but my new place has a kick ass view of the city and a spare room for a studio! wooooooo00000000ooooooo00000000! i can't wait to start making music again, i haven't opened any files in almost a month now and it's driving me insane. plus i actually have a show (the first one since jan) in july so i really want to revamp my set. my brain is full of to-do lists now, must stop thinking......

oh, and i'm never travelling again. pooooooooooooooooooooooooor.

hooray for new flat. moving sucks big time. (the act of moving actually – not the fact one moved into a new plac: that'S normally pretty awesome) but packing things up (far too many things normally) i have moved3 times last year.

and now make some music

i will make some music as soon as i can, but the g5 isn't set up right now and the laptop can't swig my latest track. yes moving does suck. BIG TIME.

mini- bigger condo- townhouse actually. houses here run about 750, 000 so nope, no house.

astroid- i've been on the internets at work, just not on em411 so much.

basic- i'm in fairview now- south of granville island. it's nice and central and quiet and pretty.

yay for more space! when i moved from an apt to a house (a very small house mind you) i thought...
"this is awesome! i'll never fill this place up with junk!!!"
it happened so quickly i got whiplash.

Jen you are a lucky duck.

We need to get a good emmeet going at Vancouver. I still have good memories of the Spark concert.

To bad emmeets are nonexistant! Grr...

congrats on the new place, frn. moving is always fun to me. except when you forget which box you put the underwear in and you're late for work.

i'm doing just the opposite of you. i'm selling me house and moving to a rental. and getting rid of tons of junk!

i also have a rubberband ball larger than a softball. jealous?

good luck with your show!

Happy for you and your new view!

Ketchup packets...

Is that your view?! Looks niiiice.

$750 000?!! I'm going to get a big truck, move my house to couver-ville, sell it, come back to ottawa, and buy another one double the size.

nice view!
Yes, moving sucks! When are you going to play Laptop Lounge 2.0????

i sorted all my clothes out first so it felt less like camping.

it is my view, although the real estate agent stood on the roof to take it, so it's not quite as all encompassing. but still rather nice.

and yeah, 750,000, it's gross. and that won't even be a really nice one. most of the nice ones are a million. for real. it's obscene. still, i don't have time for a house and a garden and all that so i like this a lot.

we made the mistake of not sorting our stuff out before we moved, already we have 4 boxes of stuff we are getting rid of. but at least now we have room to sort it all out without making the entire place a mess. it's all about mess containment in a bigger place, it seems.

once at work i had a rubber band bigger than a softball, and then i went away for a week, and when i came back someone had used almost half of the bands to pack up stuff! it was funny.

sohcahtoa bought a rad rad rad rad rad (almost made me consider moving to winnipeg) new place too. w00t w00t!

scan, we should all get together again soon, i don't know if it's just me but it feels like the scene in vancouver has really slowed down lately.

and i would love to play laptop lounge 2.0, as soon as i can get a friday off i'm there!

I can't wait to move. I'm used to it though, having moved twice in the last two years. One more month to go...

[Yaz music] Move out.... ddot doot doo doo doot.... move out.... doot dooot doo dooo doot... moveout, move out, move out [/yaz]

Goodbye seventies

1 million??? wow. that'll get you a mansion and about 10-20 acres where i live.

the bad part is, i want to move to a different area of the country where prices are sky high and thus probably will never be able to afford to buy again.

if only i had a telephone booth like dr. who and could take it with me wherever i went. that'd be pretty cool.

just buy an airstream.
