i just moved to a bigger place. it's chawesome, but the chaos is driving me insane. i haven't moved in 8 years and i seem to have accumulated a shiteload of stuff in that time. sorting through it all is not fun. but my new place has a kick ass view of the city and a spare room for a studio! wooooooo00000000ooooooo00000000! i can't wait to start making music again, i haven't opened any files in almost a month now and it's driving me insane. plus i actually have a show (the first one since jan) in july so i really want to revamp my set. my brain is full of to-do lists now, must stop thinking......
oh, and i'm never travelling again. pooooooooooooooooooooooooor.

yeah stuff just accumulates. I've been dumping tons of stuff to make way for my lady to move in. It's amazing finding things and wondering why you ever got them in the first place.

just up the hill from granville island?? are you close to the new skytrain line going in? i can't keep my bearings straight in vancouver anymore, the skyline changes so quickly.
when i was little my dad would call that the building with 'suspenders'.. very cool.

fairly close to the new station, it's on cambie though which is about 7 blocks east. i know what you man about the skyline, i've lived here my whole life and it amazes me! can't imagine what it would be like if i left for awhile and came back.
yeah that building is rad, they recently converted the whole thing into residences, pretty nifty but no balconies....

i left right when that bank of condo's was being planned/built on the north side of false creek, that was a shocker to come back to..
portland is experiencing birthing pains of this sort, i see little hi-rise building creeping up here and there, i give it 5-10 years. then i think the urban lifestyle will change here, to something more akin to what vancouver or seattle is like now ( ie more $$$ ).
kinda sucks, inevitable as it might be. portland neighourhoods rock, i just wish everyone wasn't white hehehe. (gross over-generalization.. but really, i do miss the cultural diversity in vancouver.. i guess i don't miss racially motivated gang fights though.. sigh.. humans suck)
