nope, never wondered.
he defiantly hires ppl to slam keys for him.

or monkeys

monkeypeople
or
monple how they are called in the world of biology and science

heh heh funny
i wonder what that score is from, if anything?
"Saxes Moving Downstage", "Tune Uke" don't sound to me very Aphexish.

I can remember reading an interview with the guys from Autechre and they mentioned something along the lines of "Yeah, we actually made 200+ tracks and only used 18 for this CD release."

wonder if *they* had monkeypeople working for them too?

they have monkey people digging through all of their unreleased tracks and selecting them through a really complicate algorithm

ah... the famous autechre 'one potato, two potato' algoryhtym.

i admit i've never seen that pic before - and it's funny. looks a bit like some of the 'chance' type pieces (with a bunch of jokes tossed in - though many chance pieces look a bit like jokes to start with...) - i played one back in high school in either a band camp (insert joke here) or maybe a district or state band sort of thing... lots of rustling chairs, clapping, odd sounds not normally made with instruments, etc...

'duck' - 'cresc. or not' - and 'like a dirigible' caught my eye...

200+ tracks and only used 18... wow - i hope somebody was listening to the tracks now and then - self-editing is such a nice thing.

Not much to wonder aboot, the "saxes move downstage" and "coronet use ice" notations provide the 'LOL' part.

...or how aboot, "mute in"

or "release the valve"

A good randomgenerator sometimes does the trick. Get 3 sounds, 3notes, 3 rhytms and the possibilities are 3 tot the 3th. Makes a few songs no?
