Hello all
Just found a few pics from our old bedroom studio back in 1998. not very exciting AT ALL, hehe.
But, there are a few things i noticed we used that I don't have anymore. such as a fostex reel to reel 8 track recorder (it's kinda hard to see but it's at the top of the shelf thing, very low lighting).
When using MIDI, we were using the ATARI sequencer and running a very early version of cubase. the atari was very old, and used. so it would die randomly at any given time, but after restarting, it would always go back to normal.
Our main keyboards at the time were the yamaha CS1x and the Yamaha DX100.
Low budget fx processors included a very old roland reverb/delay unit (it's the fx rack under the atari keyboard). also, a digitech digital delay rack (which is angled up against the mixer).
Under the mixer is a alesis quadrasynth rack which we were able to borrow for a little bit. also pictured is a dr202 drum machine atop the record player.
The picture with the cables is the snake of cables that ran into the fostex 8 track. behind the cables (even though the picture sucks and is blurry) you can see (sort of) a Mettel Electronics Synsonics Drum pad. never really used it, but when i did i always got a good laugh. especially when running it threw distortion.

WOW.
Thanks for making me realize that I was an absolute synthesizer god in 1998. lol.
But mad props on havin a Synsonic drums pad. That was my first drum machine back in 1986. One day we plugged in the wrong power supply and it made the most amazing sounds, right before it belched smoke and died.
