1. Went to a Lou Reed concert the other night - he's touring BERLIN. Guestlist and backstage passes as my girlfriend's cousin was singing in the choir. Glad I didn't pay shed loads for it as personally I wasn't too keen on the reworkings of some old classics. The best bit for me was Lou's voice. How he can stretch the pitch and timing of his vocals to way off anything to do with the tune, works for me. No wonder he is a big Ornette Coleman fan.

2. My mate GRINNER has a band. They are a studio band but i think they do a good job of sounding kinda live - the drums are entirely sequenced and I think they rock...I would like to know what you guys think - and no doubt GRINNER would like to know too : link

3. Am I pregnant? I can't stop eating bloody pickles........

Thanks.

I ranch pluats. I dont know from haberdashers.

I love Lou Reed. He is on my list of greats. I finally got to see him for the first time about two years ago at the Warfield. He was amazing! I kicked down $75.00 for the tickets, and it was well worth it. He played the classics, and a lot of stuff off New York(My favorite album by him).

nice one strangus. yeah, he's on my list of greats too. i didn't like the setup at the gig i went to that much, that's all. band was too big and mainstream for my liking. still wicked though and very moving at times!
