I've just finished my third EP, Blue Clamp. It's got six songs and I think it's by far the best thing I've done. Style-wise, it goes from sort of noisy, echolicious pop songs to screamo to inadequate Meshuggah-worship.

Writing and recording the songs was the easy bit. I spent the *whole* of last weekend copying, cutting, folding, stapling, colouring, inserting and burning. With each new record, I labour under the illusion that this time it will be quick, this time it won't take forty-eight hours and seven films and ten bowls of Shredded Wheat and seventeen playbacks of my current favourite album. But it always does.
Maybe one day I will be able to get copies produced in a factory. But I guess that would take away half the fun.
