--> This is my current studio.. lovingly refered to as the Hawaiian timeshare (it's painted tropical green everywhere but where my space is).

So..

The big muthatfuckin' monitors are my Yamaha NS244's. The little ones are msp3's,
Laptop in the center.

The tapedeck is my "finishing center" along with my amp + bookcase.

I pretty much spend my entire life here so it's cozy for a reason.

The midi controller under the keyboard is my trusty, rusty ol' pc1600x.. and my pc200mk2 keyboard (with one "erect" key).

Unseen is the midines which is parked right underneath the motu (directly under the laptop).

Vss30.. my all in one kickdrum + acid sample mangler.

2 gameboys and one copy of nanoloop. The gameboy is usually patched into the graphic equalizer and I use the GB to make weird noises and kick drums.

etc. etc.

Nice!!
Very cool setup
Love the pics.

hey, i see some buzz action there...

Nice man, I dig the lighting, it gives the room nice warm feel

nice one! the lighting reminds me of a star's dressing room

buzz on the screen, yoshitomo nara on the wall...excellent!

I installed my old lava lamp no that I see they're back in fashion.

dig the vibe! looks fun to work in.

Good stuff! ikea trestle table?

Yeah everyone needs a lava lamp.

I was just thinking the same thing.
i'd love to get a lava lamp for my studio.
How's the thing with the dust?

sexy lights

yes, ambience is important. And cozy is good. Not seeing a window though - maybe behind you? I find it's good for gazing thoughtfully.
I personally don't get why people are so into Nara paintings though - not slagging, it just escapes me.

anyone got a link to info about Buzz? I've heard it mentioned but know nothing.

also, get a tripod or something! these pics are blurry. (I know, a flash would kill the ambient lighting...)
