It is the best place for all your techie needs if you are into retro computing, chip tune gear, bendables, tubes, DIY parts, autoclaves, recording gear, guitars, superconductors, synthesizers, amps, ham-fm-tube-shortwave-CB radios, medical gear, cold fusion, servers, gene splicing, xenobiology, Cryptography, phonographs, polygraphs, perpetual motion, video games, or photography.....plus mucho more.

Just like the last couple months, me my girl and Snorkles the Wonder Pug will be opening our car boot to all of you techs with our special blend of synths, bendable toys, robots, dj gear and other audio related gear for sale.

I will have a large selection of Talking toys to bend, Furbys, Bendable casio keyboards including a VL-1 and a SK-5, fx boxes, a lot of bendable learning toys, midi sax, some DJ gear, maybe a groove box or two and whatever else i dig out of my mess of a studio closet to sell off. I especially am looking for someone who needs a SID chip 'cause I've got one. I will also have details on an optigan but won't be able to haul it up tomorrow.

Make sure to stop on by and mention if you are an EM411 person. I alway love to talk tech and shoot the breeze with y'all and besides i get to see if you really do look like your Simpsons Avatar.

And make sure to pet Snorkles the WonderPug!
She been known to be good luck and can smell a speak and spell a mile away!

Here are some Flickr pictures from the last couple of months that give you an idea of just how many amazing goodies there are for anyone at the MIT Flea. it isn't just my booth you should see, it is EVERYONE.

The July Flea has come and gone.

There wasn't as much cool stuff as the last one I went to (June 2006, which featured some guy selling lots of old Kurzweil parts, among other things), but Sean represented with his usual array, including this time a Yamaha MEP-4 that hopefully someone had the sense to buy. The other good stand (beside the $10000+ Enigma machines) was the couple selling panel meters, but I understand they're at every Flea.

BTW, if anyone needs back-lit VU needle meters in any size or shape, I'd be happy to go back next month and pick some up.

On a personal note, I met Logo--so now that's 2 of you I've met in person. Plus, Sean sold me the VL-1 that I've coveted since I was 9 for a very reasonable price.

And I got to give his pug Snorkles some very deep and satisfying scratches.

Yeah, it was pretty ok. I only walked away with a SID chip (thanks again). There was one guy outside with a ridiculous amount of awesome salvaged knobs, but I had to take off so my search through them was short.

It was nice to meet you guys. I'll probably run into you at other fleas...
