oh man... that song is actually my least favortie in the whole entire world. i've just heard it sooooooooo many times because my dad is a jazz standard playing pianist and i always thought he wrote it until maybe 4 years ago. ha.

I just watched a BBC3 documentary of him a few days ago with him playing in his club and talking about his life had no clue he had died. I am currently almost in tears as I read this blog of this sad news (he was still kicking it big style). To JOE - "You will be missed by many old and new Joe and sorry I only got into your sound when you were in the last days of Weather Report" - the force WILL continue, pal.
